DSN LAB. CREATIVE DISCIPLESHIP.

DSN LAB is a discipleship initiative training our young people to grow and serve the church through visual media such as photography, videography, graphic design and illustration.

WHEN STUDENTS GET INSPIRED, A CLOSET BECOMES A CREATIVE SUITE.

In summer 2019, we rolled up our sleeves and transformed a storage closet into a brand new design studio. DSN LAB was born.

It has been overwhelming to see the student response to the LAB. Students are not only interested, they are enthusiastic to engage and create through visual media.

WE ARE DESIGNING TO EXPAND AND EXPANDING TO DESIGN.

Our desire is to continue growing the LAB. Through our NEXT capital campaign, we hope to more than double our lab space and hardware to accommodate the growing interest of our students.

Our first job as DSN LAB leaders is to inspire. As Christians we believe that we are made by The Creator. We also believe God has commissioned us to be part of His creative process. This is a most unique and joyous calling! We have the very high privilege of reflecting the light of the gospel and sharing His story with the world.

There is not a more exciting time to be sharing! God has blessed us with so many powerful tools and platforms. Our ability to design and communicate is simply unprecedented.

Our goal is to provide exposure, training and experience with industry-standard hardware and software. We shoot with Canon DSLRs, work on Apple iMacs, and create in Adobe Creative Cloud softwares like Lightroom and Photoshop.

The ultimate goal is that students realize that their creative gifting can be used to glorify The LORD. We desire for students to hone their creative skills to serve their church, whether they remain with us after graduation or push out into the world. Wherever God may take them, they are inspired and equipped to serve.
