What do you expect from God? 

Hold on. Don’t jump with an answer.  Think on that for a moment, maybe even a while—a long while.  How you answer that question might just reveal how you really picture Him.

How you believe in Him. 
Trust Him.

Or struggle to.

As we continue through the account of Jesus raising Lazarus, we continue to experience the tension.  The tension between expectation and disappointment.  Faith and doubt.  Hope and despair.  

Life and death. 

As we look upon this story, we are not just at the tomb.  We are in the tomb.  Wrapped in our sin.  Dead in our trespasses.  Only God can forgive our sins.  Only He can fill our lungs and call us forth to new life.  Unbound and let go!
