FLUENT
SESSION 3: GOD
Man. God. Jesus. Response.
In our first session together we discussed our challenges with the gospel. Our lack of a common definition. Our lack of understanding. Our lack of application (how do we actually live it out). Our lack of confidence in sharing it with others. But we quickly moved forward, to see how the gospel is found in—shaped by—the Scripture. We looked at the first four chapters in Romans to see how Paul explained in his letter. We narrowed it down to four words, “God,” “man,” “Jesus,” and “response.”
In our second session, we focused on the brokenness of “man.” We examined the errors we have when thinking about sin. We defined what sin actually is and the penalty that it deserves. By properly understanding the bad news, we can embrace the good news—the gospel of Jesus Christ.
This week, we focus on God. We continue with God the Creator, God the Holy, God the Ultimate and our accountability to Him.
Fluent is a GBYouth study that helps teens clearly define and communicate the gospel of Jesus Christ.
